Working draft
This text describes what the website does today. It still has to be reviewed and approved by a lawyer or a fiduciary before it can be considered final, and the points marked “to be confirmed” are awaiting a decision from Centre Gaïa.
Who is responsible for your data
The centregaia.ch website is published and operated by Centre Gaïa - Santé Périnatale Integrale Sàrl (UID CHE-134.907.157), whose registered office is Rue du Jura 3a, 1196 Gland, with consultations held at Route des Avouillons 6, 1196 Gland, Switzerland. Responsible person: Dina Pataki. For any question about your personal data: contact@centregaia.ch or 022 322 90 90.
To be confirmed Centre Gaïa has not yet determined whether it knowingly addresses people residing in the European Union. If it does, a representative within the meaning of art. 27 GDPR will be appointed and named here.
What this policy covers
It covers only the centregaia.ch website and the forms it contains.
To be confirmed The records kept by therapists as part of their consultations are subject to professional secrecy and to separate information provided by each practitioner. The exact split of responsibilities between the centre and its therapists still has to be clarified.

Cookies
The public pages of this site set no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. A session cookie is used only on the private dashboard reserved for the centre’s team.
Embedded content is the exception: the map on the Contact page comes from Google Maps, and loading it connects your browser to Google’s servers, which may set their own cookies.
Who your data is shared with
We sell no data and pass none to anyone for advertising purposes. Only the technical providers needed to run the site are involved:
Vercel
Hosting of the site and execution of the forms.
To be confirmed A US company; the region its servers run in still has to be confirmed.
Neon
The database where the records described above are stored.
Amazon Web Services infrastructure, region eu-central-1, in Frankfurt (Germany).
Resend
Delivery to contact@centregaia.ch of the e-mail generated by the corporate form.
A US company.
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights
Aggregated measurement of traffic and loading times, without cookies.
Google Maps
The map shown on the Contact page; loading it sends your IP address to Google.
Sentry
Reporting of the site’s technical errors.
To be confirmed The component is integrated but only activates when a configuration key is set; whether it is active still has to be confirmed.
Clerk
Sign-in for team members on the private dashboard, when configured. It plays no part in processing visitors’ data.
The centre’s mailbox
The contact@centregaia.ch mailbox receives the messages sent from the site.
To be confirmed The provider of that mailbox still has to be confirmed.
Transfers outside Switzerland
The records described above are stored in Germany, in Frankfurt, and not in Switzerland. The European Economic Area is among the states Switzerland recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection.
To be confirmed Several of the providers listed above are US companies. The contractual safeguards covering those transfers are being put in place and will be described here.
How long your data is kept
To be confirmed No retention period has been set yet for the records listed above: that is a decision for Centre Gaïa, and it will be stated here. In the meantime, any data about you is deleted at your request.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, and the connection to the database is encrypted. The records can be consulted only from a private dashboard, protected by authentication and restricted to accounts belonging to the centre and to its technical provider.
Your rights
At any time you may:
- ask what data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it
- have an inaccurate piece of data corrected
- ask for your data to be deleted
- object to a processing operation or ask for it to be restricted
- withdraw a consent you have given, for instance to the newsletter
- receive your data in a machine-readable format, so you can take it elsewhere
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@centregaia.ch. We may ask you for something that lets us check your identity before acting, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern. If you live in the European Union, you may also contact the supervisory authority of your country.
Changes
This policy will be updated as the points marked “to be confirmed” are settled and once the text has been approved by a legal professional. The date at the top of the page indicates the latest version.
